⚽ TOTTENHAM v SHEFFIELD UNITED

⭐ STARSPORTS.BET MARKET ⭐

I will be at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday and am looking forward to my first experience of ‘Angeball.’

It seems Spurs boss Ange Postecoglu can do little wrong at the moment after a serene start to life as a Premier League gaffer.

Even Take That legend Robbie Williams has been converted into a Tottenham fan after singing an ode to the Australian to the tune of his iconic ‘Angels’ song.

Postecoglu has undoubtedly been helped by a kind list of early-season fixtures and that will continue with the visit of struggling Sheffield United.

The Blades have picked up just one point so far and, despite running Manchester City close a few weeks ago, it is hard to make a case for them spoiling the Postecoglu love-in.

Not only do I fancy Spurs to be victorious but I will be playing the handicap market as I think they will win with a little bit in hand.

Newly-installed captain Son bagged a hat-trick in Tottenham’s most recent win at Burnley and is once again set to lead the line up front in place of the misfiring Richarlison.

Not only does that make him a must in my fantasy Premier League team but I also fancy him to open the scoring.

A bet builder of Tottenham -1 on the handicap and Son to score first is around 5/1 with starsports.bet.

⚽ MANCHESTER UNITED v BRIGHTON

⭐ STARSPORTS.BET MARKET ⭐

Manchester United have endured a chaotic start to the season compounded by the public spat between manager Erik Ten Hag and Jadon Sancho.

As well as Sancho, Ten Hag (pictured below) will be without the services of Antony after the Brazilian winger was given a leave of absence to clear his name over assault allegations.

Brighton are arguably one of the last teams Ten Hag would want to be facing in such testing circumstances and at the start of huge week for United which includes a trip to face Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

The Red Devils have lost twice already this season, at Tottenham and Arsenal, and their away form remains a major stumbling block to any aspirations of becoming serious players at the top of the table.

However Ten Hag can still cling on to an imperious home record with Brighton on the first day of last season the last team to win at Old Trafford.

The Seagulls were also the only side to do the league double over United and the ever-demanding Roberto De Zerbi will have them fully fired up and believing they can once again emerge with all three points.

Evan Ferguson is a player United’s patched up defence should fear and it would not surprise me if he helped fire Brighton to a positive result.

But for punting purposes I am going to focus on the striker at the opposite end of the pitch.

Amid the gloom of defeat at Arsenal a fortnight ago Rasmus Hojlund offered United fans a glimmer of light.

The giant Dane is in like to make his first Premier League start and I like the look of Hojlund to score at any time at 13/10 with starsports.bet.

⚽ NEWCASTLE v BRENTFORD

⭐ STARSPORTS.BET MARKET ⭐

We may only be four games into the season but it already feels like pressure is mounting on Newcastle manager Eddie Howe.

After last season’s incredible rise from relegation contenders to Champions League qualifiers, increased expectation was always likely to be Howe’s biggest issue.

Three defeats in their first four games, including at home against ten-man Liverpool, is a very underwhelming start.

While there is no suggestion Howe’s job is under immediate threat he is shrewd enough to know results need to improve to keep the club’s Saudi owners happy.

The visit of a Brentford side who themselves have only claimed one victory from four games seems an ideal opportunity to get back in the winning grove.

One of Newcastle’s biggest issues dating back to the end of last season has been their struggle to keep clean sheets.

With that in mind I can see Brentford getting on the scoresheet at St James’s Park but expect Newcastle to be able to grind out a much-needed victory.

Newcastle to win 2-1 at 13/2 with starsports.bet is my selection here.
