🔵 CHELSEA v BRENTFORD 🐝

⭐ STARSPORTS.BET MATCH MARKETS ⭐

Chelsea welcome West London neighbours Brentford to Stamford Bridge on Saturday lunchtime for an intriguing derby clash.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side were arguably unlucky not to beat Arsenal last weekend after storming into a 2-0 lead only to be pegged back late on and end up sharing the points.

While the narrative is that for 70 minutes Chelsea produced their best performance of the season, the stats tell us they have actually been the better team in every game they have played and should have amassed more points than they have.

The return from injury of striker Armando Broja is a major plus for the Blues, who posed much more of a goal threat in their resounding win at Fulham with the Albanian leading the line up front.

Broja’s return can also help Cole Palmer continue his excellent form by opening up spaces for the former Manchester City man to operate in.

Palmer is playing like he has a point to prove after being sold by City and has scored in each of his last two outings – both from the penalty spot – and also came close to netting from open play against Arsenal.

Palmer to score the first goal is 5/1 with starsports.bet and will also make up part of my price-boosted anytime goalscorer treble.

I watched Brentford dismantle Fulham at Craven Cottage early in the season but the Bees have not kicked on as they would have hoped since that victory, ending a six-match winless run by thumping struggling Burnley 3-0 last weekend.

What the visitors do have is a goal threat with Bryan Mbuemo and Yoane Wissa amply filling the void left by the banned Ivan Toney.

Both teams to score at 4/5 with starsports.bet looks a very solid proposition especially as Luton are the only visiting side not to net at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League so far this season.

🔴 ARSENAL v SHEFFIELD UNITED ⚔️

⭐ STARSPORTS.BET MATCH MARKETS ⭐

Defeat at Arsenal could see Paul Heckingbottom become the first Premier League to be sacked since the season started.

Despite giving Manchester United a fright last weekend, which probably says more about United than their hosts, it is hard to see anything other than a comfortable Arsenal victory.

The Gunners have a very impressive home record against newly-promoted teams, winning 31 and drawing five of their last 36 such matches.

Despite the fact five of the visitors’ eight defeats have been by just a single goal, including their latest 2-1 loss at home to United, this is surely a golden opportunity for Arsenal to show their scoring prowess.

Heckingbottom has openly admitted his team are ‘down to the bare bones’ with injuries to key defensive duo Chris Basham and John Egan hitting particularly hard.

If the Gunners are anywhere near their best Arsenal -2 on the handicap at 21/20 with starsports.bet looks very attractive to me.

Gabriel Jesus was my idea of a first and anytime goalscorer in this game, but with the Brazilian nursing a hamstring injury my attentions have turned to Bukayo Saka.

Arsenal’s ‘Star Boy’ has come up with a goal or an assist in seven of his eight Premier League appearances this season so Saka to score the first goal at 10/3 with starsports.bet will do for me.

🐺 WOLVES v NEWCASTLE ⚫

⭐ STARSPORTS.BET MATCH MARKETS ⭐

Newcastle will be looking to bounce back from their mid-week Champions League defeat at home to Borussia Dortmund when they travel to Molineux on Sunday.

That could be far from straightforward against a Wolves side who have put together a four-match unbeaten run to climb towards the top half of the table.

The Dortmund defeat came at a cost for Eddie Howe with striker Alexander Isak and Jacob Murphy joining an injury list that already included Sven Botman and Harvey Barnes.

The Magpies will also be without Sandro Tonali until NEXT season after he was hit with a ten-month betting ban so this looks a good time for Wolves to be taking on the men from the Toon.

Gary O’Neil has proven on numerous occasions in his still fledgling managerial career that he is the master at coming up with a game-plan to negate the opposition’s strengths and I am backing him to do it again.

Six of Newcastle’s last eight visits to Wolves have ended 1-1 and I like the look of another draw at 14/5 with starsports.bet
