North Macedonia are already out of contention to qualify for next summer’s finals, whereas England – who have already sealed qualification – just need a point to ensure they enter pot one for the upcoming draw.
Gareth Southgate was reluctant to experiment too much with this team in England’s comfortable, albeit fairly dull, 2-0 win over Malta on Friday with the likes of Harry Maguire and Jordan Henderson keeping their places in the side.

England were extremely comfortable in victory the last time these two sides met and I expect it to be the same story again here, despite North Macedonia’s home advantage.
