Luton v Liverpool – Football & Racing News – Star Sports

Luton Town face an almighty challenge on Sunday afternoon when they welcome Liverpool to Kenilworth Road in a Premier League clash.

As expected, it has been a tough start to life in the Premier League for the Hatters who currently sit in the bottom-three with five points from their opening 10 fixtures.

In their most recent outing, there was a big gap in class between them and Aston Villa who comfortably beat the Hatters 3-1 thanks to goals from John McGinn and Moussa Diaby as well as an own-goal from Tom Lockyer.

Liverpool have made a decent start to the new season, sitting in fourth position after their first 10 matches, and will now be hoping to mount a possible title charge.

It was a fairly routine victory for the Reds last time out as they swept aside a struggling Nottingham Forest side with goals coming from Diogo Jota, Darwin Nunez and Mohamed Salah.

Despite an unfortunate injury to Andrew Robertson, who has been ruled out after undergoing shoulder surgery, Liverpool are in decent form and will want to continue that on Sunday.

⭐ LUTON v LIVERPOOL STARSPORTS.BET MARKETS ⭐

Against Luton Town, Liverpool will expect to win of course but they must not fall into the trap of thinking it will be a walk in the park and underestimating their opponents.

If they are able to play to their best, I do expect the away side to get the victory here, though, and in comfortable fashion. I am backing a Liverpool win to nil at 5/4 with starsports.bet.
