Liverpool take on West Ham United at Anfield on Wednesday night with both sides vying for a spot in the last-four of the EFL Cup.
Jurgen Klopp’s side missed the chance to go top of the Premier League at the weekend, held to a frustrating goalless draw by arch-rivals Manchester United, and will be looking to use this cup clash as a way of getting back to winning ways.
Klopp is likely to shuffle the pack somewhat with the league obviously taking priority, which may allow opportunities for the likes of Joe Gomez and Caoimhin Kelleher, but will surely still start a strong team with the Reds inching closer to the possibility of silverware.

West Ham bounced back from their 5-0 hammering at the hands of Fulham with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers at the London Stadium on Sunday.
Now, they will be looking to back that up with a positive result in the EFL Cup with Hammers fans surely – after tasting success in the Conference League last term – desperate for even more silverware.
Naturally, I suspect David Moyes to make one or two changes to his side in order to keep things fresh, but I would be surprised if he didn’t go strong in this game with a Wembley final not too far in the distance for them.
Liverpool have a ridiculously strong record against the Hammers at Anfield, losing one of their last 54 home meetings against them, and I do expect that to continue on Wednesday night.
⭐ LIVERPOOL v WEST HAM STARSPORTS.BET MARKETS ⭐
I do expect the visitors to score, though, as Moyes’ men have proven themselves to be proficient in front of goal this season. This makes a price of 6/4 with starsports.bet for Liverpool to win and both teams to score look appealing.
After his scintillating performance at the weekend, which saw him bag a brace in that win over Wolves, I also like the price of 4/1 for Ghanaian midfielder Mohamed Kudus to score anytime for the away side.
