A couple of good spins on Saturday – Unexpected Party ran his race in the big one but a few errors in the closing stages didn’t help his cause whilst Weveallbeencaught is still learning his game and it was encouraging to see him finish second to the impressive winner Broadway Boy in the novices’ chase writes HARRY SKELTON.
The final day at Cheltenham on Sunday and fingers crossed for a winner.

He has won this race for the last two years and it would be brilliant to do it again. He’s in great form at home and we’ve always had it in our minds to start off here as he goes so well fresh. Obviously Edwardstone and Jonbon are two very high class horses, so it’s not going to be an easy race, but you don’t expect that at this level. Hopefully he can run another really good race here.
L’EAU DU SUD

Tristan Durrell rides Knickerbocker Glory again. He won on him last time at Ascot and the more rain the better for him. He did it well at Ascot, is in good form and has come out of it well. He ticks a lot of the boxes.
I ride L’Eau Du Sud. He showed some promising form last year in the Morebattle at Kelso. He also ran nicely at Kempton and Haydock. He’s undergone a wind operation, he’s done loads of work at home and off a mark of 130 I think there’s a little bit more to play with. All being well, he’ll handle any ground and we’re hopeful of a very big run.

He won nicely at Ffos Las on his first start for us. He’s now moving up into the Listed grade and it will be a hot race. It’s a really testing horse for a young, inexperienced horse with all the undulations, but we’ll see how he fares. We think he’s a nice horse for the future, but this will tell us whether he can handle Cheltenham at this stage of his career.
