Brighton v Ajax – Football & Racing News – Star Sports

Despite the injuries starting to pile up, Brighton continue their Europa League campaign on Thursday night when they take on an out-of-form and out-of-sorts Ajax side at the Amex Stadium.

The injury concerns just won’t let up for Roberto De Zerbi with Solly March and Danny Welbeck, two important players, added to the list on the treatment table.

De Zerbi must now find a way to juggle both the Premier League and Europa League with a reduced squad, which won’t be an easy task, and will likely mean more minutes for the likes of Simon Adingra and Evan Ferguson.

There is no two ways about this, it has been a simply shocking start to the season for Ajax with the Dutch giants, after seven games, inexplicably sitting in the relegation-zone following their latest defeat at the weekend.

In a topsy-turvy seven-goal thriller, Ajax yet again suffered defeat; this time a 4-3 loss to FC Utrecht which resulted in the sacking of manager Maurice Steijn. Hardly a great surprise after Ajax’s worst ever start to a league season.

There will be hope now that, with Steijn gone, there will be renewed optimism and fresh impetus. They face a tough test on Thursday night, though, against a Brighton side that, on their day, can cause real problems with their high-intensity style.

⭐ BRIGHTON V AJAX STARSPORTS.BET MARKETS ⭐

Despite their problems, Ajax have still managed to find the back of the net on a consistent basis – scoring nine goals in their last six matches in all competitions. I still think Brighton have the upperhand here, but I like the look of both teams scoring.

As well as this, with Adingra now sure to become a more pivotal part of the Brighton team due to the ongoing injury crisis at the Amex, I like the look of him scoring anytime at 13/10 with starsports.bet.
