After a tricky start to the season in the Premier League, Manchester United now kick-off their Champions League campaign with a tough opening fixture away at Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena on Tuesday night.
The Red Devils come into this fixture off the back of a disappointing result to Brighton at the weekend where the Seagulls tore Erik Ten Hag’s side apart at Old Trafford with goals from Danny Welbeck, Pascal Gross and Joao Pedro securing a 3-1 victory.
United will be looking to bounce back immediately so an away trip to the Allianz Arena to face-off with German giants Bayern Munich – who are currently 11/2 to win the Champions League with starsports.bet – probably isn’t the ideal follow-up fixture for them.
However, one bright spark over the last couple of weeks has been the integration of new striker Rasmus Hojlund into the side who is only getting fitter and is likely to lead the line again for Manchester United on Tuesday night.

Unsurprisingly, Bayern Munich have made an unbeaten start to their Bundesliga season; winning three and drawing one of their opening four fixtures.
The man who is grabbing all the headlines, again, to no surprise, is new signing Harry Kane who joined from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer after a prolonged transfer saga.
England’s leading goalscorer already has four goals to his name in his first four Bundesliga games and there are sure to be plenty more this season with him slotting into this Bayern Munich side almost seamlessly.
Manchester United will be fully aware of the quality of Kane having reportedly tried to sign him in the summer, but stopping him will be a different matter entirely.
The odds of Kane to score first have been boosted by starsports.bet to a price of 7/2 from 11/4 and, given the rich vein of form that he’s currently in, that looks like an appealing bet.
I also like the look of both teams scoring, but with the Bayern securing the points, as both sides have the attacking quality to make this interesting.
