Where does Jesus fit in?

Because we are all sinners, and God is Holy, we have a mark against us in the eyes of God.  God's absolute and perfect holiness cannot tolerate sin, not in His presence and surly not in His Kingdom.  The blemish of sin which we all carry would tarnish His holy Kingdom.  Our sin separates us from God.  As a matter of fact, the only prayer that God promises to hear, or to respond too, is the prayer to Him, asking to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and repenting of your sin.  (To repent is to change. To have a change of heart, mind, and actions).  Of course we are first saved by believing on Jesus, and THEN once we are saved we need to repent of our sins.

Because of the sin curse which we are all born into and under, and because we are separated from God because of our sin, we have a gap between ourselves and God.  God made provisions for us to unload our sin debt.  Jesus Christ bridges that gap between us and God.  Jesus came and willingly suffered and died to pay for our sin debt.  He took upon Himself, the punishment that WE deserve.  This was God's plan, it is His way.  God accepts that suffering sacrifice of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, as perfect and sufficient atonement for our sins.  All we have to do is accept His free gift to us by believing on Jesus as our Lord and Savior.

Jesus is the answer to our sin debt, there is no other way...

John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth,
and the life: no man cometh unto the Father
but by me.

Acts 4:12
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there
is none other name under heaven given among
men, whereby we must be saved
.

John 3:18
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but
he that believeth not is condemned already

because he hath not believed in the name of
the only begotten Son of God.
