The New Bibles And The Catholic
Dark Age View Of Hell

Recently in this century we have seen many bibles produced and marketed by big business. These bibles are sold as "new", but in actuality they are based upon very old manuscripts from the Dark Ages. The manuscripts were found in connection with Catholicism. Vaticanus is the name given to one manuscript showing the intimate link with the Vatican at Rome.

Since English is the universal language of our modern age it is interesting to see the new English translations such as the N.I.V, the N.A.S.B. and the N.K.J.V. line up against God's King James Bible in their promotion of Dark Age Catholic mythology.

One example of deceptive error new bibles have in common with Roman Catholicism is in regard to Hell. Hell is redefined and perverted by Catholicism's unbiblical mythology.

Although purifying theology from such false Catholic doctrines as Purgatory and Limbo, Protestants have failed in the majority to notice the Catholic corruption of Hell. The new bibles all insure that the perversion continues undetected. They have made it impossible for the Christian to understand
Hell. Only the King James Bible is translated perfectly to allow Christians to purify Protestant theology from Catholic Dark Age mythology. How unfortunate that many would rather dig blindly in the soil of dead ancient languages when the true riches are preserved and resurrected in
perfection in the common language of our day.

What is this treasure that the KJV preserves in regard to Hell? The truth is that Hell is not the place nor state of damnation in endless eternity. The King
James Bible rightly discovers to us that there are two possible places for the disobedient when they are judged by God. The first place is called
Hell, the other is called the Lake of Fire. This lake is the final place of damnation for the unbelievers. To refer to Hell as the place or state of damnation in infinity is Catholic perversion.

The KJV teaches that Hell is a place. Neither Satan, his angels, nor people suffer there for all eternity. Even so, there is endless punishment in the Lake of Fire. Hell is seen as a prison of outer darkness. All who refuse God's free justification will come up out of Hell and will go into the Lake of Fire for infinity:

  Revelation 20:
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Notice that the final place of endless destruction for unbelievers is not Hell but the Lake. What then is the big deal? If there does exist a place of eternal perdition in infinity, what does it matter if it is called Hell or the Lake of Fire? It matters greatly.

If one keeps the Catholic teaching on Hell as being infinite punishment, then we are faced with a dilemma. Jesus Christ warned Christians that they could be punished in Hell!
(Mtt.5:14,16,22,29,10:28,29, See also: John 1:12,8:42, Gal.3:26)

If the classic myth is true about Hell, then a person's salvation in all eternity depends upon his works. One could lose his salvation. We would be forced into a Catholic interpretation of Scripture. We would have to see Scripture as contradictory, only resolved by exalting Catholic
tradition above Scripture.

Nevertheless, we need not be concerned, for with the KJV there is no contradiction. Jesus knew that when an unbeliever died and his body was buried, his spirit would go to the prison of Hell until his body is raised. This raising of the unbelievers body out of the earthly grave would not happen
until after the thousand year Kingdom that Christ reigns over. (Rev.20:5,11-15)

At this time, the unbelievers spirit comes up out of Hell to be reunited with his raised body. Also at this time Hell is done away with. (Rev.20:14) The unbeliever will go body and spirit into the Lake of Fire to be alienated from God for all eternity. This is all in reference to an unsaved man who is a child of the Devil. (Eph.2:1-3) Never is an unsaved man warned of infinite Hell. His place of endless destruction is the Lake of Fire

Now notice that Jesus was talking to children of God. He said God's children could never be lost in eternity. (John 3:16-18,6:39,40) Nevertheless He warned that for bad behavior, they may have a stay in Hell.
Luke 12:4 And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.
5 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.
6 Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God?
7 But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.
8 Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:
9 But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.

Although Christ assured all Christians that they would automatically receive a Last Day resurrection on the basis of faith in Him; He did not promise all Christians a Seventh Day resurrection into His Kingdom which occurs before the Last Day. This resurrection could only be had by the Christian. But not every Christian.  It could only be had by faith plus works.
(Heb.4:4,11, 3:18,19, James 2:5, John 14:21) The Christian that would not obey Christ would go to prison for the duration of the 1000 year Kingdom. This prison would be occupied by Satan and his angels, along with the spirits of unbelievers. This prison is called Hell in a King James Bible.
  (Rev.20:1,7,- Isa.14:15)

As we have seen, no unbeliever has his body raised until after Christ's 1000 year kingdom. His body lies in the grave while his spirit is in Hell until judgment day. Nevertheless, all Christians are raised before the coming kingdom to stand at the Judgment Seat of Christ. They must appear before Him in body and spirit. (2Cor.5:10, Rom.14:10 ) Since all Christians will be raised before the kingdom, all will receive a raised body. The Christians that did not suffer against sin will not be permitted to enter the 1000 year kingdom of glory. (2Tim.2:12, Dan.12:1-3, John 5:28,29, Rom.8:1,17)
Therefore, these Christians will go away to Hell in soul and body, until the Last Day resurrection. (Mtt.10:28,29,Rev.20:15,Jn 6:40)

New bibles have Jesus stating theological error. They leave Hell in the verses where Jesus warns children of God, but then where the Holy Spirit teaches that Hell is not the final place of endless destruction, the truth is removed and Hades is inserted in place of Hell.(Rev.20:14) This leaves one with no way of proving that Hell is not the place of final, endless destruction. Hell becomes another word for the final Lake of Fire. They become synonymous. God's free gift of salvation is perverted into a Catholic salvation by works. If Hell is the final place of endless destruction, then a Christian can be lost in infinity, for Christ warned believers of Hell. (Mtt.5:16,22)

Many, unaware of the Catholic perversion of Hell, try to reconcile the passages by leaving Hell as the place of endless damnation, while pretending that Christians never sin in such ways as Christ warned. Scripture refutes such teaching. (John15:2, 1Cor.3:15,6:8, 2Cor.12:20,21, Gal.6:7,8, Titus 3:8,14)

Others, seeing the Catholic folly of teaching that all true Christians are good Christians, nevertheless are forced to create back-breaking dispensational interpretations in order to explain Christ's warning to His disciples. Matthew, Luke, 1John, Hebrews, James, etc. are applied to another age in the tribulation or millennium. But even then one is left with the same warnings to the Christian throughout all of Paul's Epistles, not to mention Christ's words to the Seven Churches in the Book of Revelation. (Col.1:22,23,28, 1Thess.4:6, Eph.5:2-5, Rev.3:5)

Since a Christian is assured of final eternal security on the Last Day, (John 6:39,10:28,1Cor.3:15) the only explanation of all the warnings is to conclude that a Christian may be punished after death during the time of the 1000 year Kingdom. The disobedient, fruitless Christian will be banished to
the outer darkness of Hell for the deeds done in his body after salvation.
  (Mtt.24:48-51,Heb.10:29-31)

Yes, Christ warned children of God of being punished in eternal Hell. Yet, not for all infinity!  Notice that Christ warned of punishment in Hell in soul and body.(Mtt.10:28,) All unbelievers are not raised until the Great White Throne, after the Kingdom. At that time, Hell is no more. Therefore
an unbeliever's body will never touch Hell! It is only the Christian, who is raised in body before the Kingdom that can be judged in Hell in soul and body.

All of these truths are destroyed when one embraces the Catholic myth that Hell is in fact the final Lake of Fire. Remember Rev. 20:14 in the KJV. Hell is not the final, endless Lake of Fire, though it be a prison of punishment.

The King James Bible speaks of the grave where dead bodies stay until judgment. Then there is Hell, followed by the final Lake of Fire. There is no mythological Hades in the KJV!  Hades in Greek and Roman mythology is the realm of Pluto. It has no place in Christian theology. (Why not
use the supposed Greek word for Heaven!)

Avoid Satan's subtle attempt in new translations to leave the warnings to Christians about Hell, but yet destroy the teaching that Hell is not the place of final, endless destruction in infinity; thereby teaching Catholicism's salvation by good deeds!
