Revelation
chapter 22, verse 16 "
I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the
churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and
morning star" Is Jesus the morning star? Then why do we find
the following in the NIV in Isaiah 14:12?
"How you have fallen from heaven, O morning star, son of the dawn!
You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the
nations!" - SHOCKED!? You should be. In the NIV,
Lucifer, (Satan) has replaced Jesus Christ! How could that happen?
Think for a moment. The word of God is hated by Satan. Romans 10:17
clearly states: "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by
the word of God". If Satan can corrupt the word of God, then faith
will be poisoned, and more souls will end up in the Lake of fire. Has
Satan been in the "Bible corrupting business" long? Well for
starters, in the garden of Eden, he spoke to Eve saying "Yea,
hath God said . . ." He was attempting to cast
doubt in Eve's mind as to the truth of God's word. The Apostle Paul,
in 2 Corinthians 2:17 says "For we are not as
many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God,
in the sight of God speak we in Christ". Satan was
busy in Paul's time attempting to do away with the word of God. He is
just as busy today!
The
NIV Makes Jesus A Sinner-
Check it out...
Let's look at a verse that makes
Jesus Christ a sinner. Matthew 5:22 NIV "But
I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to
judgment." The scripture actually reads
"But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without
a cause shall be in danger of the
judgment." Was Jesus ever angry with His brethren? Did
He not in anger cast the moneychangers out of His fathers house. Did He
have cause? The NIV omits "without a cause". According
to it, if Jesus Christ got angry, which He did, He is a sinner just like
you and I. That is blasphemy! Now to some Christians this may not
seem to dangerous. But what of the newer Christians? What of the
less knowledgeable Christians who now believe by reading that verse in
the NIV, that Jesus did indeed sin?
What are you going to do? Most saints will
continue on in self imposed ignorance, as if to say, "don't
confuse me with facts, I am comfortable where I am." That will not
be the case at the Judgment Seat of Christ. Please give this some honest
consideration.
